Yu-King-KY reports an 8.5% year-over-year revenue growth for the first eight months, driven by strong North American retail demand and smart display upgrades.
What Happened
Strong Revenue Growth: Yu-King-KY reported August consolidated revenue of NT$245 million, bringing the cumulative revenue for the first eight months to NT$2.577 billion, an 8.5% year-over-year increase. Despite some shipment delays in August, the company achieved its highest revenue for the same period in three years.
Robust North American Demand: The company noted that demand for commercial display racks remains strong, driven by store expansion and renovation projects from major North American retailers like Lowe’s and CVS. To handle urgent orders, Yu-King has implemented a three-shift production schedule to maximize capacity and ensure timely delivery.
Smart Retail Transformation: Capitalizing on the digitalization of retail, Yu-King is upgrading its display racks with electronic shelf labels, inventory sensors, and digital picking equipment. The next generation of smart display products is currently undergoing client testing and is expected to be certified by the end of the year.
Q4 Outlook: Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, Yu-King expects a peak in operations as deferred orders are recognized and production volume increases. The company remains committed to expanding its smart retail product line to meet the growing demand for digital store integration among global retailers.
