Waste-Tech will acquire a 20.83% stake in Tianying through a NT$600 million capital injection, aiming to bolster collaboration in specialty chemicals and circular economy solutions.
What Happened
Investment Move: Waste-Tech's board has approved a NT$600 million investment to participate in Tianying's cash capital increase. By subscribing to 10,000 shares at NT$60 per share, Waste-Tech will secure a 20.83% equity stake in the company.
Capital Structure: Tianying, currently capitalized at NT$300 million, plans to issue 18,000 new shares in Q4. Following the completion of this capital raise, the company's paid-in capital will increase to NT$480 million.
Strategic Synergy: The partnership is designed to deepen cooperation in the circular economy sector. Both companies aim to leverage their combined strengths to expand their presence in the high-purity copper sulfate and electronic-grade specialty chemicals markets.
Broad Support: Beyond Waste-Tech's participation, the remaining 8,000 shares are expected to be taken up by prominent domestic venture capital firms, major electronics manufacturers, and strategic supply chain partners. This indicates strong industry backing for Tianying's future growth initiatives.
