The Taiwan Stock Exchange is removing the mandatory risk disclosure requirement for its Innovation Board to boost liquidity and has approved four new IPO applications.
What Happened
Trading Rule Reform: The Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) has decided to eliminate the requirement for investors to sign a risk disclosure statement when trading on the Innovation Board. This policy shift aims to align with international market standards and reduce friction for investors, ultimately enhancing market liquidity and efficiency.
Market Maturity: After more than five years of operation, the TWSE believes that the Innovation Board's information disclosure mechanisms have become sufficiently robust. By removing the mandatory risk warning, the exchange hopes to simplify the trading process and encourage broader participation from the investing public.
New IPO Approvals: The board also approved initial public offering applications for four companies: Carota-KY, Da-Da Broadband, Bellwether, and Gudeng Machinery. These firms operate across diverse sectors, including automotive OTA software, broadband services, semiconductor testing components, and automation equipment for AI servers.
Future Outlook: Following the board's approval, these applications will be submitted to the competent authorities for final review before proceeding with listing procedures. The TWSE remains committed to attracting high-potential enterprises to the local market, providing investors with a wider array of investment opportunities.
