Revenue Performance: Phison Electronics reported a record-breaking August 2026 revenue of NT$28.27 billion, representing a 4% monthly increase and a massive 376.51% year-over-year surge. The cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached NT$164.29 billion, marking a 279% increase compared to the same period last year.
Growth Drivers: CEO K.S. Pua attributed the strong performance to sustained demand for AI infrastructure and enterprise-grade storage. Notably, shipments of PCIe SSD controllers jumped 77% month-over-month, highlighting the rapid expansion of the AI server and high-speed storage markets.
AI Expansion: Beyond storage, Phison is evolving into an edge AI infrastructure provider. Its AI Data Platform has already been deployed across more than 140 organizations in Taiwan, including financial institutions, healthcare providers, educational facilities, and government agencies.
Global Strategy: The company plans to export its successful Taiwanese AI implementation model to international markets. Phison intends to leverage joint ventures and strategic partnerships to bring its AI Data Platform and edge AI expertise to global small and medium-sized enterprises.
