Semiconductor material supplier Kinik reported record-breaking August revenue, driven by strong demand for diamond disks and wafer reclamation services.
What Happened
Record Performance: Kinik, a leading semiconductor material and wafer reclamation company, reported August consolidated revenue of NT$899 million, marking a new historical high with a 30.3% year-over-year increase. This strong performance underscores the company's robust position in the semiconductor supply chain.
Profitability Growth: Driven by an optimized product mix, the company's second-quarter gross margin reached 40.05%, the highest level in 15 quarters. Earnings per share for the first half of the year grew by over 70%, reaching NT$6.44.
Business Drivers: Kinik's three core segments—diamond disks, wafer reclamation, and traditional grinding wheels—are all seeing strong growth. The company is actively expanding its diamond disk production capacity, with plans to accelerate output to meet rising market demand.
Future Outlook: Analysts expect Kinik to challenge the NT$10 billion annual revenue milestone this year. With ongoing capacity expansions in wafer reclamation and continued technical upgrades, the company is well-positioned for sustained growth into the next year.
