Eternal Materials is transforming into an AI-focused supplier, leveraging ABF equipment, advanced packaging, and CCL materials to drive long-term growth.
What Happened
AI Material Transformation: Eternal Materials is undergoing a strategic shift from a traditional chemical and PCB supplier to a key player in AI electronic materials and semiconductor packaging. By focusing on high-end equipment and materials, the company has successfully integrated into the AI server and advanced packaging supply chains, significantly improving its profit structure.
Equipment Business Momentum: The company's subsidiary, Chang Guang Machinery, is a leader in vacuum laminators for the mid-to-high-end market. Driven by the demand for 16-layer or higher ABF substrates in AI servers, the company has secured orders extending through 2028, serving as a major growth catalyst for the second half of the year.
Semiconductor and CCL Expansion: Eternal is aggressively entering the advanced packaging material market, including MUF liquid molding compounds and CoWoS-related products. Furthermore, its silicone microsphere technology has been adopted for high-end M8 copper-clad laminates (CCL), with plans to expand capacity to support long-term growth.
Valuation Re-rating: Analysts expect Eternal's EPS to rise significantly through 2027, reflecting the benefits of a higher mix of high-margin products. As the revenue contribution from AI and semiconductor materials continues to grow, the company is well-positioned for a market valuation re-rating, solidifying its role in the AI ecosystem.
