CPI is pivoting toward AI servers with high-frequency terminals produced via semiconductor testing processes, aiming for over 40% revenue share by next year.
What Happened
AI Server Supply Chain Entry: CPI General Manager Feng Ming-chin announced that the company has successfully entered the AI server supply chain with high-frequency terminals manufactured using semiconductor testing processes. These components have already passed customer verification and have entered the small-batch production phase.
Revenue Mix Transformation: With the addition of AI server components and MEMS probes, CPI expects its semiconductor-related product revenue to exceed 40% of total sales by next year. The company reported a 36% year-on-year revenue increase for the first seven months of this year, underscoring the success of its strategic shift.
New Product Development: Beyond AI server terminals, CPI is co-developing MEMS probes and "Clean Sheets" with major semiconductor manufacturers. These products target the GPU, CPU, and advanced packaging testing markets, with significant revenue contributions expected starting next year.
Market Outlook and Challenges: While management acknowledges that fluctuations in AI server specifications and supply chain constraints may impact short-term delivery schedules, the company remains confident in its long-term strategy. Analysts expect significant volume growth by mid-2027 as customer platform deployments accelerate.
