What Happened
Asset Disposal: Arcadyan announced the sale of its Innovation Road factory and equipment to Sigurd for a total of NT$2.188 billion. The transaction is expected to generate a disposal gain of approximately NT$1.73 billion, significantly strengthening the company's financial position.
Earnings Impact: Analysts estimate that the gain will be recognized in the fourth quarter, contributing roughly NT$5.24 to the company's earnings per share (EPS). This windfall is expected to help the company turn a profit for the year.
Strategic Pivot: Chairman Li Guang-yi stated that the proceeds will serve as a foundation for the company's long-term strategic transformation. Resources will be redirected toward AI data center infrastructure and the development of high-end enterprise switches.
Operational Efficiency: Arcadyan noted that its production lines have already been fully relocated to a larger, more efficient facility in Vietnam. This asset optimization is intended to improve capital efficiency and support the company's future growth initiatives.
