Bora Pharmaceuticals achieved its second-highest monthly revenue of NT$2.185 billion in August, bolstered by CDMO shipments and a strategic asset sale-leaseback.
What Happened
Revenue Growth: Bora Pharmaceuticals reported August revenue of NT$2.185 billion, a 59.22% year-on-year increase and the second-highest monthly figure in its history. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached NT$13.98 billion, driven by the fulfillment of deferred CDMO orders and contributions from international manufacturing sites.
Asset Optimization: The company's board approved a sale-leaseback transaction for its Zhongli Plant II for NT$850 million. This move is expected to generate a disposal gain of NT$114 million and improve long-term financial efficiency by reducing financing costs and providing stable annual cash flow.
Operational Highlights: Flagship brand product Vigabatrin achieved record sales in August. Meanwhile, the consumer health subsidiary, Weider Global Nutrition, is currently preparing for the peak US retail season, with management expecting significant growth in the coming months.
Strategic Outlook: Bora continues to leverage its dual-engine strategy of CDMO services and brand drug sales. With ongoing integration of global assets and seasonal tailwinds in consumer health, the company remains well-positioned for sustained growth.
